Nicole Coyne, CFO

As the CFO of The Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee, I leverage my diverse background to drive financial stewardship and sustainability. My leadership is characterized by a commitment to transparency, accountability, and a strategic approach to financial decision-making. I actively collaborate with the Executive Team, the Board of Directors, and Federation Staff to align financial objectives with The Federation’s mission, ensuring the optimal allocation of resources to support impactful programs and initiatives.

With a robust background in private industry and public accounting, I have honed my financial leadership skills in various capacities. I have successfully navigated the complexities of corporate finance and have developed a keen understanding of financial strategy, risk management, and operational efficiency. This private sector and public accounting experience equips me with a unique perspective on adapting sound financial practices to the distinct challenges and opportunities presented by the nonprofit landscape.

Working for the Jewish Federation holds a special place in my heart as it aligns with my deep-seated passion for community and impactful philanthropy. The organization’s unwavering commitment to addressing critical issues, fostering unity, and making a positive difference in the lives of individuals and families resonates with my values.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Central Florida and later pursued a master’s degree in accounting at Kenan-Flagler School of Business at The University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. I hold a CPA license and am also certified as a Not-for-Profit accountant through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
