Chief Operating Officer
Kim Adler, COO
As the Chief Operating Officer, I am fortunate to be involved in almost every aspect of our Federation business – from marketing to events to partnering with local community organizations to further the mission of our Federation and so much more. I also have the pleasure of working closely with our amazing staff and volunteer leadership teams and share their passion and dedication to our mission and for our vibrant Jewish community.
Throughout my twenty-five-year tenure with the organization, I have held leadership positions in development, marketing, women’s philanthropy, program/events management, and information technologies. My understanding of how each department functions independently and in collaboration with one another gives me a unique perspective on our operations.
I earned my Master of Business Administration degree from the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee in 2014. At that time, I took a brief hiatus from the Federation and spent 18 months working in the for-profit sector, serving as the project manager and marketing director for an internet business solutions developer. But as the Federation has always been such an important part of my life and my Jewish identity, when I was asked to rejoin the team in 2016, I jumped at the chance!
I am currently a mentor for a Sarasota High School student through the Education Foundation of Sarasota County. I am a 2018 graduate of the Gulf Coast Leadership Institute, an initiative of the Gulf Coast Community Foundation. And finally, in my free time, I love to travel with my husband.
