On March 28th, something special is happening, and we hope you’ll be part of it. Dice, Diamonds, and Denim Casino Night is more than a fundraiser. It’s a night built on friendship, generosity, and a shared love for Camp Yonnie, a place that means so much to so many families in our community. As Chairs of this event, and as couples who believe deeply in The Jewish Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee and Camp Yonnie’s mission, we are personally inviting you to join us at The Ora for an unforgettable evening. This will be an event not to miss!
The night will be filled with great food, drinks, music, and exciting gaming, all wrapped in a fun, relaxed denim-and-diamonds vibe. Whether you’re trying your luck at the tables, dancing to the music, or just enjoying time with friends, there will be something for everyone. And yes, there will be prizes and surprises throughout the night, making every moment even more exciting.
Most importantly, every ticket purchased and every sponsorship secured directly supports Camp Yonnie, helping ensure that children continue to experience the joy, growth, and sense of belonging that camp provides. How Camp Yonnie Makes a Difference

Every summer, families in Sarasota look forward to the warmth, friendship, and growth that Jewish day camp brings. At Camp Yonnie, camp is more than just arts and crafts, sports, and swimming, it’s a place where children build lifelong friendships, strengthen their Jewish identity, and gain confidence in a joyful, supportive environment. Camp Yonnie is rooted in our values: and they SHINE (“Simchat,” joy, “Hesed,” kindness, “Ishiyut,” integrity, “Nedivah,” generosity, and “Emet,” truth) into our daily lives for all to see and feel.
For children, attending a Jewish day camp means feeling a true sense of belonging. Campers connect to Jewish values, traditions, and community in ways that feel natural and fun. Through teamwork, creative expression, and outdoor play, they develop resilience, independence, and leadership skills that carry into the school year and beyond. They learn to try new things, cheer each other on, and take pride in who they are.
Parents benefit too. Jewish day camp offers peace of mind, knowing their children are safe, engaged, and surrounded by positive role models. It provides working parents with reliable summer care while giving families a community that extends far beyond the camp season. The friendships formed at camp often blossom into lifelong connections for both children and parents alike.
This summer, our hope is to welcome 120 campers to Camp Yonnie. Last year, more than 33% of our campers received scholarships. If that percentage holds true, at least 40 children will rely on financial assistance to experience the magic of camp. That’s why our Dice, Diamonds, & Denim fundraiser is so important. Our goal is simple but powerful: to ensure that no camper is ever turned away due to financial stress.
With your support, we can open our doors wide, strengthen our community, and make sure every child who wants a Jewish summer experience has the chance to shine.
