Held on Wednesdays between December 6, 2023 – March 20, 2024 in the Fran Mann Memorial Library (also available on ZOOM), and sponsored by the Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee.

Rabbi Stephen Sniderman
‘A New Translation and Commentary of the Torah?’
Join Rabbi Sniderman as part of a larger pilot project to review and assess this forthcoming publication of the Central Conference of American Rabbis.

Rabbi Stephen L. Sniderman joined Temple Beth Israel in 2016 from Cumberland, Maryland, where he served as rabbi of B’er Chayim since 2003. Born in Toronto, Rabbi Sniderman is a graduate of York University, Toronto, and graduate student in European History at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. He then studied at the Hebrew Union College in Jerusalem and in Cincinnati and was ordained in 1975. In three communities in which he led the congregation, Rabbi Sniderman has been president of the local clergy associations. He has been involved in interfaith studies, discussions, and served on the board of several community organizations.
