Blessing of the Animals

Open to People and Pets of All Faiths!
Join us for this joyous interfaith celebration of God’s creatures! Come celebrate and give thanks to God for the creatures that bring us so much joy and companionship. All families & their furry, feathery, fluffy, slithery, and spikey friends of all shapes and sizes are welcome to join us for a special blessing.
IMPORTANT – All animals must be safely secured in cages or on leashes.
Rise Up Cafe, a Sarasota ice cream parlor that offers training to developmentally delayed adults entering the work force, will be joining us with their specialty dog treats on hand for purchase.
A percentage of the profits will be donated to the Humane Society of Sarasota County. This event is open to the entire Sarasota-Manatee community.
Blessings will be led by Rabbi Stephen Sniderman of Temple Beth Israel, and Reverend David Marshall of All Angels Episcopal Church.
