Ginette Hersh was 12 years old when Paris feel to the Nazis in 1940. Her family escaped Dijon and fled south where, for the next four years, she was hidden with her family or in boarding schools. Through lucky breaks and help from righteous gentiles, they were able to stay one step ahead of the Nazis and survive.
