On November 9,1938, the Nazis unleashed pogroms against Germany’s Jewish community, known today as The November Pogrom or the Night of Broken Glass. We remember. We commemorate. We stand up against antisemitism and all expressions of hatred, together.
Join our community as we commemorate Kristallnacht (also known as the November pogrom) through the Music of The Holocaust. With special guest performer Avi Wisnia, award-winning singer, songwriter, storyteller, and educator. Avi Wisnia will share the remarkable story of his grandfather Cantor David Wisnia, of blessed memory, who survived in Auschwitz for three years, thanks in part to his beautiful singing voice.With appearances by Cantor Riselle Bain singing songs of the Holocaust, and Megan and Emily Scarborough singing from Brundibar.
