Temple Beth Sholom’s Adult Education & Program Committee presents, “Surf, Sand & Schmaltz: Unusual Jewish Communities in Warm Weather Locales,” a virtual journey to some of the most interesting and unique Jewish communities in the world. Travel writer / photographer Dan Fellner will discuss Jewish life and history in such places as Ecuador, Barbados, South Africa, Argentina, Curacao and Costa Rica. This fast-paced presentation will shed light on resilient and off-the-beaten-path Jewish communities and perhaps give you some ideas for your next warm-weather vacation.
