The Federation is committed to educating the public about the atrocities of the Holocaust. We are also dedicated to honoring and assisting the victims, survivors, and families affected by this tragic, and horrific era in history. If your school or civic organization would like to request assistance in teaching about this dark period of history or would like to request a visit from a member of our Speaker Bureau, please click on the request form below. Details
During Holocaust Education Week, The Jewish Federation will sponsor scholars, liberators, and Survivors to share their stories with students and teachers. At the end of Holocaust Education Week, in partnership with The Daffodil Project, we will support programming dedicated to World Kindness Day.

What is antisemitism?
Antisemitism is a form of prejudice and discrimination specifically directed against Jews. It encompasses a range of negative beliefs, attitudes, and actions that can manifest in many forms.

Be an “upstander” not a bystander

When you hear someone tell a joke that belittles or uses a demeaning word, ask, “Do you know what that means? Did you intend to be hurtful?”

CHOOSE
Choose to be an upstander, just as being a bystander is a choice – but doing nothing in the face of injustice implies agreement.
T
TEACH
Live your life by example. “Upstander” is a verb, as well as a noun. If you do not teach by example, others cannot witness.
