Explore the Greenspon Campus for Jewish Life
In 2019, the Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee engaged Brandeis University to conduct a Jewish Community demographic study. Not only did the study show that ours is among the fastest-growing Jewish communities in the country, but it also revealed that respondents have a deep desire to engage and connect with their Jewish culture and neighbors.
The Larry Greenspon Campus for Jewish Life, currently under construction here on McIntosh Road, will fulfill this vital community need while aligning with one of our Federation’s primary goals: connecting Jews to Jewish life. Our campus will serve as a safe and secure hub of community building, an oasis of learning and respectful exchange, and an incubator space for arts and ideas.

Morganroth Event Center
The hub of our campus is the Morganroth Event Center, our region’s newest and most versatile event venue.
Our state-of-the-art facility features the best in technology, acoustics, and lighting, with enough flexibility to make it the ideal location for life celebrations, corporate events, and live entertainment whether you are hosting 10, 100, or 1000 guests. The multi-use complex will have nearly 400 parking spaces, providing ease of use for guests. Our exclusive catering partner, the nationally-recognized Constellation Culinary Group, provides both stellar cuisine and impeccable service in our 28,000-square-foot Center.
We are proud to welcome all members of the community to our premier venue in the heart of Sarasota!
Chaifetz Holocaust
Memorial
We encourage all visitors to our campus to take the time to reflect along the beautifully landscaped walking path dedicated to Holocaust remembrance and education. Through experiential learning and evocative art installations, the memorial promotes awareness of the evils of hatred, antisemitism, and prejudice, and seeks to inspire understanding, compassion, and ethical behavior.
Features include:
- Sam and Sally Shapiro Holocaust Children’s Memorial
- Donald H. and Bobbi K. Bernstein Cast Iron Shoe Memorial
- Self-guided and docent-led tours
- Sculptures and interactive exhibits
- Gardens and fountains for reflection
We look forward to welcoming school groups, civic organizations, senior centers and more to this powerful memorial.
Greenspon Sports Complex
Our Complex will welcome all ages and will feature a family-friendly Splash Pad, exercise and fitness options, and an indoor changing area. The Center will also be integral to our new day camp.
The Tennis Center will feature lighted Har-Tru tennis courts, a stadium court for tennis matches and exhibitions, and multi-sport courts for pickleball, basketball, and more.
Klingenstein Administrative Center
Home to our dedicated Federation staff, our newly remodeled administrative building features state-of-the-art technology, flexible office and meeting spaces, and modern, ergonomic furnishings with space for our team to grow and evolve.
Ritter Wolk Security & Training Center
The Federation is committed to providing a campus experience where all members of the Sarasota-Manatee community can enjoy a safe and secure place to work, learn and visit.
Protecting such a diverse community brings a unique set of security challenges which we have addressed through deliberate planning and security measures including a 24-hour security checkpoint at the entrance and exit to campus; advanced software for efficiently tracking and identifying all visitors; regular maintenance of grounds to ensure proper sightlines and access; and two safe rooms to protect Federation staff and visitors.
In partnership with the Secure Community Network, the Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee is now at the center of security-based planning for area faith-based institutions with a special emphasis on threats to Jewish organizations. The Federation’s new Ritter Wolk Security Center will feature:
- 3,000 square-foot center, including two training classrooms
- Training in threat assessment, emergency planning, CPR and First Aid, and other critical needs
- Security planning headquarters to develop and implement strategic frameworks that enhance the safety and security of all Jewish facilities in our area
